Recycling of shear scrap
In recycling plants, rubbish from shear scrap or floor scrap is omnipresent. This material stream offers a wide range of grains, from fine sand to bulky, solid parts. Shear scrap/waste is made up of a variety of different materials, including non-valuable components such as earth, stones, wood and plastics, but also valuable metals such as iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), stainless steel (VA) and copper (Cu).
The recovery of these valuable materials is not only economically interesting, but also necessary to comply with legal landfill regulations.
A first and often sufficient step to achieve a fraction that can be sold and a fraction that can go to landfill is, the separation of the fine fraction, which mainly consists of material of no value. BLUELINE offers the perfect solution for this application with SCREEN HEAVY our coarse particle sieve. In combination with our CONVEY L800SM overband magnetic separator, the ferrous parts can be additionally sorted off from the undersize with only one machine.
By separating these components, BLUELINE helps to preserve valuable resources and reduce the amount of landfill. It offers an efficient and sustainable way to process shear scrap/waste/sand and even incineration scrap while meeting legal requirements.
