the data protection declaration.
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. That is why we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) 2003). On principle, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection, if not in conflict with any legal obligation of retention. If you believe that the processing of your data goes against data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, please contact us. You can also complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
Here, you can learn about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website:
Access data/log files
We (or rather, our web hosting provider) collect data about every visit to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes, among other things: Name of the accessed website or file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), and the requesting provider. Your IP address is stored anonymously in the log files on the web server without exception, so that it is not possible to trace website visits back to specific IP addresses.
We use the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the web content. However, we reserve the right to review the log data retroactively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete indications.
Form data
All forms on this website are primarily used for visitors to make contact with us. All data entered are handled with strict confidentiality and not forwarded to third parties. After sending a form, for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions, the entered data are both saved on the server and sent in an e-mail to the visitor and to the site operator for further processing. Optional input fields are offered to make both making contact and later correspondence easier. It is important to us that only truly necessary entries are marked as mandatory fields.
Inquiries that do not result in a specific business transaction with corresponding retention periods are also stored in our business contacts database to facilitate any correspondence in connection with future inquiries and business transactions. Furthermore, if we can identify a legitimate interest in our products or services based on this data, it will be used to provide future information about them. Inactive contacts and inquiry details are deleted in accordance with our privacy policy after a certain period of time has elapsed since the last correspondence.
Newsletter
If the corresponding consent is given, your name and email address are saved in our e-mail distribution list until further notice so we can send you the newsletter, which includes promotional information. Agreement to receive the newsletter can be withdrawn by clicking on the link at the bottom of every e-mail. As part of registration, we or our newsletter provider save the time of registration and confirmation and the IP address of the user. We are legally obligated to log registrations in order to verify proper registration.
Messages within the scope of a contractual relationship do not fall into this category. This includes sending technical information, information about payment processing, queries about orders and comparable messages, which you will receive even after unsubscribing from the newsletter.
The newsletter is sent using "MailChimp", a newsletter delivery platform from US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The e-mail addresses of our newsletters recipients, as well as their other data described here, are saved on MailChimp servers in the US. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp can use these data according to its own information to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimisation of delivery and the display of the newsletter or for economic purposes in order to determine the countries from which recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to the recipients itself, nor does it forward these data to third parties.
We trust the reliability, IT security and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreementPrivacy Shield.Furthermore, we concluded adata processing agreement. This is a contract which obligates MailChimp to protect our users' data, to process the data on our behalf in accordance with its data protection provisions and, in particular, not to forward the data to third parties. You can view the privacy policy of MailChimp here.

In addition, you can configure your browser to notify you when cookies (especially third-party cookies) are set and to allow them only on a case-by-case basis. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website. To find out how to do this in a specific browser, you can use the browser’s built-in help function or, alternatively, visit http://www.aboutcookies.org. This site provides step-by-step instructions on how to manage and delete cookies in most common browsers.
Use of Matomo
We use the web analytics tool Matomo to generate anonymous statistics about the use of our website. This processing is carried out without cookies and without collecting personal data. Your IP address is permanently anonymized immediately after it is collected, so that it is not possible to identify you personally.
We analyze anonymous usage data solely to improve the content, structure, and user-friendliness of our website.
Matomo is configured to comply with the GDPR and is hosted on a server in Dresden, Germany. The anonymized usage data is also stored on this server and is automatically deleted after no more than 24 months. The data is not shared with third parties, and no processing takes place outside the EU.
Use of Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data collected is used to optimize our website and our advertising efforts.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obligated to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data it processes.
During your visit to our website, the following data, among other things, is recorded:
- Pages Viewed
- Orders, including sales and the products ordered
- Achieving „website goals“ (e.g., contact requests and newsletter sign-ups)
- Your behavior on the pages (for example, time spent on the page, clicks, scrolling behavior)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your IP address (in truncated form, so that it cannot be uniquely identified)
- Technical information such as browser, Internet service provider, device, and screen resolution
- Source of your visit (i.e., which website or advertising material led you to us)
Additional notes:
- Personal data such as your name, address, or contact information is never transmitted to Google Analytics.
- The collection of precise location and position data in Google Analytics has been disabled
This data is transferred to Google's servers in the United States. Please note that data protection laws in the United States cannot guarantee the same level of protection as those within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years from the date of your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that allows you to be recognized during future visits to the website.
The recorded data is stored along with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the analysis of pseudonymous user profiles. Data in Google Analytics is processed using artificial intelligence. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.
If you do not consent to this data collection, you can opt out by installing the Browser add-ons for disabling Google Analytics (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) or by rejecting cookies through our cookie settings dialog.

Use of Google Ads
Our website uses the Google Ads online advertising system provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When a user enters a search term via the Google Display Network, they may be shown interest-based ads.
You can find information regarding data protection in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Ads Conversion Tracking

You can find information regarding data protection in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

This allows us to display personalized ads to you in appropriate ad spaces on other websites, based on the interests you have shown on our website. This feature is limited to a maximum of 18 months.

Using Leadfeeder
In parallel to the use of Google Analytics, this website also uses the service Leadfeeder, operated by Liidio Oy, Mikonkatu 17, 0100 Helsinki, Finland. Leadfeeder accesses the list of IP addresses provided by Google Analytics in the analysis of website visitors and links the list of IP addresses with information about companies found online at these IP addresses. Due to the shortening of the IP addresses of website visitors already carried out in the use of Google Analytics, no direct personal reference is made. A reference to a person may be presumed when reviewing the linked company information.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
The Insight Tag of the social network LinkedIn is used on our pages. It is offered by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as "LinkedIn"). The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a small piece of JavaScript code that we have added to our website. The LinkedIn Insight Tag makes it possible to collect data on visits to our website, including the URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties, timestamp and page views. These data are encrypted, anonymised within seven days and the anonymised data are deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us. It offers only compiled reports about the website target group and ad performance. LinkedIn also offers retargeting for website visitors so that, with the help of these data, we can display targeted ads outside of our website without the member being identified in the process. Members of LinkedIn can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/advertising/actions-that-showed-interest
Conversion measurement with the visitor action pixel of Facebook / Facebook Custom Audience
With your consent, we set the visitor action pixel of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") on our website. It enables us to track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This way, we can understand the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market-research purposes. The data collected in this process are anonymous for us, meaning that we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, these data are stored and processed by Facebook, and we inform you of this according to our state of knowledge. Facebook can connect these data with your Facebook account and also use them for its own advertising purposes, according to Facebook’s data use policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.You can enable Facebook and its partners to set ads on Facebook and other sites. Furthermore, a cookie may be saved on your computer for these purposes.
This consent may only be granted by users older than 13. If you are younger, we ask that you consult your guardians.
The easiest way to monitor and/or prevent your visit from being tracked is by using a browser plugin. https://www.ghostery.com/ is an example for that.
