SENSOR VISIBLE is a sensor sorter with a transmission system that is specifically used for sorting Glass.
Sorting of glass is based on the ability of materials to absorb, reflect, or transmit light to varying degrees. By analysing the (residual)intensity and wavelength of the transmitted light, conclusions can be drawn about the particle properties. This sensor sorter is suitable, for separating glass from CSP (ceramics, stones, porcelain) or for separating green, brown and clear glass from each other. Depending on the task, the sorter can also be equipped with an induction bar and detection of leaded glass and glass ceramics.
The precise sorting of detected particles is carried out using compressed air.
This technology helps make the glass recycling process more efficient and cost-effective.
