DENSITY SORTERS

Density sorting is a technology for separating material streams based on their density, but particle shape and individual particle unit weight can also influence sorting. It is often used in the recycling industry and in the processing of metallic or non-metallic raw materials, where efficient and, above all, precise sorting is required.

The process of dry density sorting is based on the principle that particles of different densities behave differently under the influence of gravity. By specifically adjusting the angle of inclination of a separating surface or an air flow, particles with different densities can be separated from another.

The modules of the product group SORT consist of sink-float sorters, air separators and destoners.
