SENSOR BASED SORTERS

Sensor-based sorters (SBS) are used in processing technology to detect different particle properties using a wide variety of sensors, in order to be able to separate them precisely. This technique enables automated and efficient sorting, based on the sensory particle information captured.

Depending on the type, the sensor based sorter is used for a wide variety of input materials. It can be used to separate based on color, shape, inductance, density, or properties such as reflection or transmission of light.

The modules of the product group SENSOR combine a wide variety of sensor sorting technology to produce high-purity concentrates and are used when conventional separation technologies are not effective.
